One of a Kind…

I am slowly making my way home from an amazing trip to Bhutan (with a stopover in Hong Kong to visit my oldest who is studying here for a quarter). I was thrilled to travel to Bhutan for the second time in the last ten years and share the journey this time with some of my family and close friends who may as well be family.
Bhutan was one of my first travel photography destinations and honestly it spoiled me quite a bit. Its authenticity, beauty, friendly and welcoming people, and remoteness is truly one of a kind. In my travels to almost 30 countries since then, in my heart, no other country has compared. This photograph was taken at Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery in Punakha.
