Go Adelies!

I recently entered the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops Animals Contest and was thrilled to find out that “Googly-Eyed Adelies”, one of the photographs that I took in Antarctica this January, received an Honorable Mention.  With 2,850 images entered from all over the world it was a pleasant surprise to be selected.  I spend a lot of time photographing people.  With this kind of encouragement, I may have to photograph the critters a little more.
