Finding Beauty in the Unseen

Susan has always loved dabbling in black and white infrared photography. She Is currently working on a new project of botanical infrared images named “Unseen Beauty” where she captures smaller scenes often overlooked by most who are transfixed on more majestic scenes. Whether it be a subject in a gully in New Zealand while beautiful ferns tower overhead or some brush floating in the water while capturing the gorgeous fall bayou in Texas from a boat, with infrared photography Susan can pull out graphic beauty in texture and tones that are often overlooked.
