Emperor Penguins Recap Part 1

Teri and I spent many days on the front end of our trip in Punta Arenas, Chile. We had great food and conversation with our newfound photo adventure friends and even celebrated Teris birthday while there. Sadly the delays lasted too long for many to be able to do the trip. In the end our group of ten was down to four with us being joined by two new photo friends Dennis and Cesar who joined us on the adventure. When the weather permitted we flew four hours on an Iceland Air 757 from Chile to Union Glacier Camp in Antarctica. We spent one night there in the 24 daylight where Teri enjoyed biking. The next morning we flew another 4 hours on a Basler to Gould Bay to the Emperor Penguin Camp.
